This Policy is intended to disclose the personal information that we collect through claims handling, loss adjusting, or similar processes such as claim forms, telephone calls, e-mails and other communications with us, as well as from claims investigators, witnesses or other third parties involved in our business dealings with you (the “Services”).

In order to provide our services, we may need to collect personal information about you. The information collected will depend on your relationship with us. We may obtain personal information about you from but not limited to: Insurers, dealerships, repairers, contractors or from yourself in a telephone conversation, email, letter or verbally in a meeting.In this Policy, “personal information” means any information that identifies or could be used to identify an individual person. When we collect personal information we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.Personal information collected about you may include:General information: such as your name, address, email address, telephone numbers, date of birth, policy and claim information, skills and experience, professional licences, vehicle registration numbers, identification numbers issued by government bodies (driver’s licence), videos and photographs (this may include neighbouring properties or other vehicles), prior accident or loss history, your status as a director or partner or other ownership or management interest in an organisation and other insurance policies you hold.Financial information and account details: bank account number, account details, financial encumbrance details and other financial information.Other sensitive information: in some rare instances we may receive other sensitive information, including information about your criminal record or civil litigation history in the process of preventing, detecting and investigating fraud. We may receive this information if you voluntarily provide it to us through our Services.Communications: we maintain records when you email, call or contact us.Recruiting and Job Applicants: if you apply for an employment position with us, we will collect information such as your name, contact information, CV/resume and other information relevant to your application or that you otherwise submit to us.Professionals, Experts, Contractors: we work with external professionals in order to deliver our services. ARC Assessing may make personal information available to the following parties for the purposes of claim assessment or as required by law :Other insurance and distribution parties: we make personal information available to third parties such as reinsurance brokers, appointed representatives, distributors, financial institutions, and other business partners. Service providers: we may share your information with third party service providers who use this information to perform services for us, such as payment processors, hosting providers, auditors etc. Other third parties: we may share personal information with other third parties such as fire, police, ambulance services, fraud prevention agencies and any other third party that may be involved in a claim that we are handling.
